The KASISI Project is a practical agricultural infrastructure programme implemented by Schweizer Agriculture Limited in partnership with the Government of the Republic of Zambia through the Division of Resettlement under the Office of the Vice President. The programme focuses on improving access to affordable irrigation infrastructure for small-scale farmers within resettlement schemes.

Implementation in Kanakantapa Resettlement Scheme (Chongwe District) and Miyengwe Resettlement Scheme (Masaiti District) demonstrates a consistent delivery model that combines irrigation, mechanisation support, access to finance, and farmer capacity building. Field interventions such as the rehabilitation of drip irrigation systems and engagement with cooperatives provide proof of scalability and replication across districts.

The programme prioritises infrastructure-first development, recognising irrigation as the foundation for productivity, income stability, and reduced production risk.
